I have lived in Alamosa 5 months in the San Luis Valley my entire life.

My favorite way to stay active outside of the gym is running or park workouts with friends

I don’t have a favorite exercise, I just like to exercise in general lol

My specialty- I prefer HITT style workouts but always add in some strength building portions.

How did I get started- I have always been in to sports and athletics so after graduating from school and having babies, fitness was a way to continue that lifestyle.

I am inspired by people that work hard. No matter what their level is if they work hard that is inspiring to me!!

My favorite healthy food is smoked chicken

My favorite cheat meal is pizza and sweets.

Favorite ways to stay active outside of the gym? Shadow boxing, hiking, running, mountain biking, and road biking

What's your favorite exercise and why? Sparring. Its so demanding mentally and physically. You look to improve your skill set by hitting and not getting hit, while also taking care of your opponent because we all want to train for a long time and train smart. Sparring definitely shows yourself if you’ve put in the work.

What's your specialty (fitness)? Boxing

How did you get started in fitness? A lifetime of sports interest and wanting to perform optimally. From traditional football, basketball, and soccer growing up turned into running, weightlifting and self improvement/maintenance.

An interest in MMA is what fueled a start in boxing. Being competitive with others and mostly myself allows me to show up and still continue the journey.

What inspires you? 2 main things: 1st the progress and results from discipline, showing up when you don’t want to and consistent push towards your goals. Trusting the process reaping the rewards.

2nd helping others or being presently supportive in their journey and watching the passion and desire grow and just being able to be part of that energy.
